Shipping Info

packaging & documentation.

Proper packaging and complete documentation are required for all Flair Cargo shipments. Review the requirements below before tendering your freight.

Packaging

packaging requirements.

All packaging must be IATA-compliant and capable of withstanding the rigors of air transport — pressure changes, temperature variations, and standard cargo handling.

  • New or like-new corrugated cardboard, rated for gross weight
  • All void spaces filled — no movement inside the box
  • Sealed with pressure-sensitive or water-activated tape (minimum 5 cm wide)
  • No string, twine, or wire as primary closure
  • Sharp edges protected to prevent puncture to other cargo
  • Fragile items double-boxed with minimum 5 cm of cushioning
  • Liquids in sealed, leak-proof inner container with absorbent material
  • Labels affixed flat — no wrapping around edges
